OK so I went to David's Bridal on Friday night with my MOH and 2 BMs.
I tried on dress after dress after dress and nothing. I was getting frustrated because I knew that I was not going to find "the" dress there. I just went because I wanted to check my options in PA before going to a different state (NY).
Then, without expecting it I tried on one dress and I felt good in it. And when I got out and showed my girls they were speechless. They kept going on about how this was the one, that I looked great in it and so on. And that just made me feel even better. Finally we were getting somewhere lol.
That dress was my favorite thus far. Then I came out with another dress that followed that one and again my girls were going wild.
I'm so glad they were able to go with me :D
We got there at 7 and it was 9pm and we were still there because I couldn't decide between the two. Finally I decided to come back the next day with my mother, since she's paying for the dress, and with my FMIL. I made the appt and we left around 9:30pm.
The next day I was super sick. I couldn't get out of bed to go to my appointment. That made it even worse because I wasn't able to get another look/feel on how the dress looked on me. So I started talking to FSIL about the pros and cons. I showed pictures to my mom and posted some pictures of me in the dress for my lovely knotties to see and give their opinions. And finally after hours and hours of laying in bed sick and debating between two fantastic dresses I made a decission.
I ordered the first dress that I tried on and loved. And so far I've been getting great feedback on my decision.
There's only one issy bitty tinny problem. I don't plan on posting a picture of the dress on the blog. Well at least not for now. Reason being because I don't know who reads my blog and I'm sure that some of my guests going to DR (not many but some) do read it and I really want everyone to be surprise when I walk down the aisle in my fabulous dress. Another reason is because the only picture I have of my dress is of me wearing it, now if I get a picture of a model wearing it I'll be sure to post it. In the mean time I'm sorry for leaving you in suspense so far away from the wedding day.
Happy Hump Day!
