Photographer- Julia Azcona

On Sunday we had an engagement session with Julia Azcona, our wedding photographer. She came with Gabriel the wonderful man who created our save the date and with Caritza his wife and a wonderful knottie I got to know online and recently met in person. (By the way Caritza did an amazing job with my make-up, thanks girl you ROCK!). It took them four hours to get from NY to PA. That’s just crazy and I can’t stop feeling awful for the long ride they had to take to get here, not to mention that it took them another 4 hours to get back home :(

I found out about Julia’s talent from Caritza last year and I couldn’t wait to book her for our wedding. Since we had to change our wedding date and put our plans on hold for awhile I decided to do a family portrait early this year with her. That was the first time we met. She was so nice and sweet, just like I’d imagined her to be. The months passed by and we kept in touch through emails, Facebook, and by me stalking her blog. For the record I have to say that she is very very talented, so if you are looking for a photographer and want to check out her work feel free to look through her blog.

After meeting Julia, Caritza and Gabriel only for the second time I am convinced that they are the sweetest and nicest people ever. The photo shoot was so much fun. In addition to the E-pics we also got to do an engagement video with Gabriel, check out his blog he’s very talented as well and they make a great team. We felt so comfortable with them, especially me because I swear is like I’ve known them for years. I can’t wait to see the pictures Julia took and the video Gabriel is creating for us. Thanks guys!

These are some of the pictures from the Family Portrait session we did with Julia back in March.

Reception Venue

Another check… woot woot! I just got another email from the wedding coordinator. A couple of days ago she had sent me pictures of the locations available for the reception and I felt in love with one location in particular. I felt really sad because she said that the Bordeaux Terrace and the Patio Terrace where booked at a first come first serve basis. Regardless of that I felt compel to ask for it anyways, you just never know when something is meant for you to have you will get it. Well... guess what the email said? And I quote “Bordeaux terrace is booked for your wedding reception.” Wooooohooooo! That’s what I’m talking about. You want to see the reason why I’m so excited? Ok ok, I’ll show you.
Reason 1

Reason 2
Reason 3

What do you think? Do you like it? Just add a little color to it and voila! The main reason why this location took my breath away was because of the view. I just love being able to imagine that after our vows we'll be partying the night away with such a gorgeous view. Isn't having a view with palm trees, the ocean, and the blue sky shining it's moonlight upon you just mind-blowing? Well I don't know about you but that's what I would call my dream wedding reception.

Hasta Luego!

Bad, Bad Pam!

I’ve been the worse blogger the past few weeks. I’ve had some checks but they all involved spending money, I don’t want to brag about spending money lol. What happened to those days when the parents paid for the wedding? Those days need to get come back in style again asap
(-_-).

On another note, the past 2 weeks I’ve been talking to the wedding coordinator at the resort to see pictures of the locations, find out some more money questions, and so on. I want to have a welcome party for the guests traveling to PC and we decided to do a bonfire on the beach 2 days before the wedding. What do you think? Sounds like a good idea right. Alcohol, smores, music, dancing, talking, more alcohol lol a welcome party can’t get better than that. Especially of it’s on the beach.

Just imagine eating this
along with this

or even this

in a place like this

Yeah, just what I thought. You’re speechless right? Yeah, so am I. Writing it now and looking at the pictures makes it even better than just thinking about it. Boy am I excited! Please wedding trip hurry up and come =)
